Welcome to Timetracker! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our services, including the website, mobile and desktop apps, and any related features (collectively, "Timetracker" or the "Service"). By accessing or using Timetracker, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

To use Timetracker, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or older if your country requires it);
• Complete the registration process and provide accurate information;
• Agree to these Terms;
• Use Timetracker in compliance with all applicable laws; and
• Be a human — automated or bot access is prohibited.

2. Definitions

4. Your Responsibilities

• Use the Service only to manage your own Content or Content you have permission to manage;
• Refrain from reverse engineering, copying, scraping, or tampering with the Service;
• Not distribute objectionable, infringing, or illegal content via Timetracker;
• Avoid using multiple individuals on a single login — each user must have their own account.

5. Account Content & Ownership

• You retain ownership of all Content you submit to Timetracker.
• You grant us a license to store, process, display, and aggregate your Content solely to provide the Service.
• You are solely responsible for all Content associated with your Account.

6. Third‑Party Vendors

We may use third-party vendors (e.g., for hosting, analytics, billing) to deliver the Service. These partners are committed to safeguarding your data under stringent security and privacy controls.

7. Free Trials & Subscriptions

• If you subscribe to a paid plan or free trial, you agree to pay applicable fees.
• We may suspend or terminate your Access for nonpayment or fraudulent activity.
• Refunds are subject to our policies and not guaranteed, unless required by law.

8. Term & Termination

• These Terms are effective until terminated.
• You may terminate your Account at any time via your account settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
• On termination, your license ends, and we may permanently delete your Content per our data retention policy.

9. Privacy & Security

• Your use of Timetracker is also governed by our separate Privacy & Security Policy, which is hereby incorporated.
• We maintain ISO-level security, TLS encryption for data in transit, secure storage, and regular backups.
• You are responsible for managing access to your Content, especially in team accounts.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

You use Timetracker "as is" and "as available." We provide no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy, performance, or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Our total liability arising from or related to these Terms will not exceed the total fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of Timetracker or violation of these Terms.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The revised Terms become effective upon posting. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where our company is registered.
• Disputes will be resolved via arbitration or courts in that region, unless otherwise required by local law.
